Flipcause is a fundraising platform designed to be a one-stop shop for small nonprofits looking for a way to raise funds, host events, and track donor activity. While Flipcause offers helpful features and personal concierge services, small nonprofits should calculate if the money they save using Flipcause will outweigh what they’ll pay in monthly fees.
Givebutter is free thanks to optional donor tips.
The fee charged by our secure payment processors is 2.9% + 30¢ except ACH, which offers a reduced rate of 1.9% + 30¢ per transaction. Donors can choose to cover these fees (which 95% do!).
If you'd prefer to disable tips, a platform fee applies instead:

Flipcause offers two pricing plans based on your organization’s revenue from the previous year. Plans cost $125 or $200 per month, paid annually.
Flipcause’s payment processing fee is 6.9% + 30¢ per transaction for all web payments. If you give donors the option to cover these fees, then it’s capped at 1.5% per quarter. If you deactivate the donor fee coverage option, then you pay the full 6.9% + 30¢ fee for each transaction.
For any payments you process manually within the platform, the per-transaction fee is a flat 3.5%, which your donors also have the option to cover.
