With Givebutter, you can seamlessly integrate event ticketing and livestreaming with all of your fundraising campaigns, donor engagement tools, and supporter tracking for free.
Eventbrite offers sleek tools for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, just like Givebutter.
But unlike Givebutter, Eventbrite requires a premium package for unlimited ticket types, detailed reporting, and team access—all of which come standard with Givebutter, along with 100+ other fundraising tools and features.
Givebutter is free thanks to optional donor tips.
The fee charged by our secure payment processors is 2.9% + 30¢ except ACH, which offers a reduced rate of 1.9% + 30¢ per transaction. Donors can choose to cover these fees (which 95% do!).
If you'd prefer to disable tips, a platform fee applies instead:

Eventbrite offers two event plans, both of which are free to use if you are using free or donation-based tickets.
Eventbrite does charge a service fee for paid tickets on both plans:
→ Essentials: 2% + $0.79 per ticket
→ Professional: 3.5% + $1.59 per ticket
Eventbrite also applies a 2.5% payment processing fee to every transaction. Users can absorb these fees or require attendees to pay for them.
Users can also pay $15–$100+ per month to get access to marketing tools through Eventbrite Boost.

We were using too many different platforms to sell and manage tickets for our events—and then even more systems to process and collect online donations. Plus we had no tool for crowdfunding. When we did go shopping for crowdfunding tools, we found solutions in the tens of thousands of dollars—way outside what we could justify. Then we discovered Givebutter and quickly realized we could centralize ticket and event management, crowdfunding, social engagement in fundraising campaigns, and centralize payment and donation processing for all occasions through the interface.
