Givebutter Pricing

Givebutter is free thanks to optional tips we receive from donors, and we are committed to remaining free, forever. This means that every time we release a new feature (and we release a lot of them!) you will always get access for free.

Tips are optional contributions that help cover the cost of everything Givebutter provides, including unlimited use of our modern fundraising tools and live customer support.

Tips can be turned off or on at any time, for any campaign. While tips are off, a small platform fee applies based on campaign type (1% - Donation Forms, 3% - Fundraising Pages, 5% - Events or Auctions).

All transactions include a standard processing fee of 2.9% + 30¢ for all payment methods except for ACH, which offers a reduced rate of 1.9% + 30¢ per transaction. You can choose to hide, show, or require these fees in the form.

Over 95% of donors across all campaigns on Givebutter have chosen to cover the entire fee associated with their donation, leading to an average overall fee of just 0.5%.

In the rare event that a donor decides not to cover their fee, it is deducted from the full donation amount in real-time. Your organization receives the remainder without actually paying anything out of pocket.

Unlike some other platforms, Givebutter charges less for ACH transactions. All payment methods include a standard processing fee of 2.9% + 30¢ except ACH, which offers a reduced rate of 1.9% + 30¢ per transaction. Perfect for larger donations or sponsorships!

We know how important it is for you to get the funds you raise quickly and securely, which is why we don't impose any limits or fees on payouts, and provide several options for you to do so:

• Direct deposit via bank account (2-3 business days)
• Direct deposit via debit card (2-3 business days)
• Send to beneficiary (contact us)
• Automated deposits (available to verified nonprofits)

Givebutter is the first platform to allow your donors to pay for their donations using Venmo. Venmo is another built-in payment method option for your donor’s convenience, and there’s no set-up or Venmo account required on your side! Funds from all payment methods (credit card, Venmo, debit card, PayPal, and more) are simply transferred into your account whenever you request a payout.
